El PEINE DEL VIENTO - SOUND FROZEN IN TIME - San Sebastian/Spain
Is the stream of time viewed in its pure movement becomes synonymous with consciousness? Is there continuity given to us in the introspective experience? Surely represents a dimension of the material world and is associated with impermanence, but it is also something disordered, as it causes memory loss and forgetfulness. Universal and all-encompassing time flows at a steady speed and nothing can change him. It Is absolute in the universe but does not fit equally everywhere because, as the fourth dimension is related to the concept of space-time.
How to hear the time, and see stories of its passing, how to hear spacetime, how to thaw the past in the present.
Through exploring some typical parameters and the social circumstances of the origin of the work, the „El Peine del Viento- sound frozen in time” is looking for an answer, method and tool for the ” time extraction „- sound enchanted in sculptures of the Eduardo Chillida – El Peine del Viento.
