"the monochord will give eternal life; if in the more material part, transitory life" - Seyðisfjörður/Iceland

site-specific sound installation/concept

The Idea of the work is the connection of two mystery locations via the mundane monochord to enable an easier transition to eternal life. The 6131 meters long monochord made by 6 mm iron string connects two mesmerising architectural objects made of reinforced concrete that were strategic points for the fishing industry in the Seyðisfjörður area.
